Public Relations
For both DOORS NYC and Mazin Jewels, I reached out to influencers and celebrities for collaborations, connected with stylists for product placements, and pitched to editorial teams for media features. For DOORS NYC, I also worked directly in the PR showroom, communicating firsthand with these contacts. Below are two samples of PR emails I sent out and what I learned throughout the process.

One of my key responsibilities during my internship at Mazin Jewels was coordinating outreach and managing partnerships with 450+ influencers. In the subject line, I highlighted the brand's credibility by mentioning celebrity fans like Taylor Swift and press features in Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire. This positioned the brand as both trend-forward and admired. I included our digital lookbook and offered to send pieces of the influencer’s choice to make the collaboration feel personal.
A key challenge throughout the outreach process was that many influencers now primarily accept paid collaborations. As a smaller brand, Mazin Jewels typically did not offer paid partnerships. This experience taught me how to thoughtfully pitch to micro- and mid-tier influencers who are still receptive to organic partnerships.

For DOORS PR, I invited stylists and industry professionals to visit our SoHo showroom and explore collections from over 30 emerging designers. I emphasized exclusive access to fashion-forward pieces, positioning DOORS PR as a premier destination for discovering new fashion talent. I highlighted key selling points such as recent runway appearances and notable endorsements to build credibility. By including a link to the virtual showroom and clearly outlining the showroom offerings and appointment process, I encouraged meaningful showroom visits and strengthened connections within the fashion community.
